MATT LAHREN
Matt was first introduced to tournament fishing as a child in Bakersfield, California. He quickly grew to love the sport and as an adult his competitive spirit drew him into tournament fishing. In the early 90’s he relocated to Minnesota, spending summers at his grandmother’s cabin fishing and exploring the outdoors. His love for fishing tournaments continued to grow and after working his way into the Minnesota tournament scene, he began enjoying success. Matt enjoys sharing his love for fishing with youth, and is Co-Publisher of the new publication “Tournament Fishing Times”. When not fishing tournaments, Matt also guides, and enjoys spending time with family, playing cards and being outdoors. |

MATT BILLIG
Matt has been fishing since he was a toddler and was always the first one up and out on the lake. His passion for fishing and sharing the experiences made while on the water are what led him to become a guide. Those experiences have taken him all over the world to learn new and different techniques to be successful in what he does, from the lakes of the Midwest and Canada to coastal waters and the tropics of Costa Rica. Through it all, what he's found that what makes fishing special are the friends you make while holding a rod and real. Matt has been fortunate that he has been taught to fish the Leech Lake area by some of the most knowledgeable guides around including Bobby Landreville of South Shore Guide Service. Whether it is a wet and windy day or a flat, calm and sunny broiler, you will have a good time in the boat and memories will be made. * Matt Specializes in Muskie fishing.. |
