General Information and Policies
Maximum unit occupancy allowable is stated on the rate sheet. Charges may apply for additional guests.
All our units are non-smoking units. A fee will be assessed for anyone smoking in a unit.
Pets - Some Merit cabins and Newer Townhomes (Lakeside) do allow pets, but only with pre-approval. Pets cannot be left unattended in a cabin, townhome and/or on resort property. A non-refundable pet fee is charged per stay. Any damages incurred will be charged accordingly.
Townhomes
- Single Pet: $50
- Multiple Pets: $30 per pet
Merit Cabins
- Single Pet: $25
- Multiple Pets: $15 per pet
Weekend Stays - Weekend rates apply to both nights for reservations that include Thu/Fri, Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun. All weekends require 2 nights, except during holidays, when 3 nights are required (see below for details).
Holiday Stays - Holidays might require a 3-night stay; each night calculated at weekend rates. No coupons or discounts apply during this time.
Weekly Rates - A reservation of seven or more nights receives one night free. (Free night taken on lowest rate in effect during that time.) Arrivals cannot be on Saturday.
Weekend Stays - Weekend rates apply to both nights for reservations that include Thu/Fri, Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun. All weekends require 2 nights, except during holidays, when 3 nights are required.
Housekeeping – Lake Home units include all the linens and a supply of towels for your stay however, no daily linen or cleaning service is provided. Housekeeping service can be provided for an additional charge.
No Smoking -All our units are non-smoking units. A fee will be assessed for anyone smoking in a unit.
Deposits Policy - One night’s deposit by credit card (Visa, Master Card) is required at time of reservation with following exception: Week stays or longer require a 50% deposit by credit card at time of reservation.
We will authorize your credit card for the full amount of your balance at check-in. Guest are responsible for any damages, and will be held finically liable.
Cancellation - Cancellations made 14 days or more before non-holiday arrival will be refunded, less a $50 bookkeeping fee. For cancellations less than 14 days before arrival, deposit is non-refundable. Christmas/New Year’s reservations are non-refundable after 12/01. If cancelled prior to that, the deposit is refundable less a $50 bookkeeping fee.
Cancellation for Weeklong Summer stays - For weeklong (6 nights or more) stays in June, July & August a full refund will be given if canceled before June 1st, less a $50 bookkeeping fee. If canceled after June 1st the one nights deposit is non-refundable.
We do not accept cancellations due to weather. We do not accept cancellations over the internet via email.
All rates a subject to change.
All rates are subject to a State tax of 6.875% , a Local Tax of 3% and a resort service fee of 8.0%. The service charge funds resort programs including complimentary movies, coffee in the lobby, computer usage with internet access, copies & faxes, library, games, canoes, snow shoes, complimentary firewood, area maps, and other resort activities.
