A message to current and prospective owners at Trapper’s Landing Lodge

Our Main Lodge is truly historic, with its shiny lacquered walls and log interiors.  It sits right on the shoreline of Leech Lake, and with the windows open catches the cool summer breeze off the lake. As owners, they’ll be no need to make a reservation. You’ll be welcomed by our exceptional staff and served with VIP status, you should be, because this is your place.

The food in the restaurant will offer the area’s best pizza and sandwiches for all of your casual meals out. Select from fine specialty pizzas, including a specialty deep dish, or create your own.  But don’t think you need to look any further for fine dining, as our chef has selected entrees to satisfy the sophisticated diner as well. The menu each season will reflect the best of choices, from the house soup and salads, to the Pan Roasted Canadian Walleye Cakes appetizer and the Whiskey Glazed New York Strip Steak.

Weekend mornings we will be set to receive your family with a Saturday breakfast buffet and a Sunday brunch buffet. Enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal followed by a cup of house-blend coffee, lakeside, on the deck, with the loon’s call just for your entertainment.

The summer amenities already being offered include our sand swimming beach, swimming raft, play area and complimentary use of canoes, kayaks and bikes. The new outdoor pool and pool side grill, Splash, opened May 2008. One of the summer highlights was the live music on Saturday afternoons and evenings. The new marina building “The Trading Post” also opened summer of 2008 and provides all the summer-time, fun water supplies and fishing equipment you need.

The planned Activity Center, with an indoor pool and a hot tub, will offer relaxation with a splash of fun. There will also be an exercise room to keep you on track during your getaway! This will be a great complement to the Northwood's traditional lakeside sauna that sits near the beach, just steps away from the lake -- perfect for a quick plunge!

Service will be paramount at Trapper's Landing Lodge. We will make your tee time reservations, start your evening campfire, schedule your massage appointment, register the kids for water ski lessons, reserve a pontoon boat and even stock your kitchen with your requested groceries. Relax!

And finally, when completed, our new Lodge will be the heart of the resort -- a living room, family room, dining room, breakfast nook, library, pantry and back porch for the whole community!

This is our vision for all owners at Trapper's Landing Lodge. This page represents the lifestyle of Odyssey Resorts. Much of this is already in place and being enjoyed by resort guests and owners, some is in progress, and there is much more to come!
